Meet Maggie, AKA Mag, Magalicious, Maggie Moo, Magasaurus, Sweet Girl, my little love and My Sugar Pie Honey Bunch YOU know that I love you! She is the inspiration for Maggie's Mom small dog sitter service.
Maggie was (is) our beloved 13 pound schnoodle, she transitioned at the the ripe old age of 16 but as everyone who has ever loved an animal knows, no matter how old they are it's never long enough. She was my constant shadow and our daily source of joy and unconditional love. Maggie's transition left us heart broken, and me with a whole lot of doggie love with no place to go.
Everyone says that Mag lived a marvelous life, she was doted on and loved beyond beyond, and they are right. She was seen and known and treasured. Mothering and care giving is my super power, I learned from the best, I had an amazing mother myself. All dogs deserve this level of care and company!
Everyone also says that I am amazing with dogs and that it is a shame to let the heartbreak of Maggie's transition prevent me from sharing my love and my experience with other dogs. Again, they are right.
My passion for animals has led me down many paths through the years. I am a foster with Charlotte Humane Society, CharMeck Animal Control and several small breed rescues locally. Through the years Mag and I have helped create many beautiful furever families via fostering. I also am a PEMF practitioner and own Charlotte Pulse Center, www.CharlottePulseCenter.com , my clients are animal and human. I donate sessions to area rescues and rescue animals. My studio is onsite.
I have decades of experience pet sitting and fostering and thought it was time to once again have some sweet doggie energy in the house on a regular basis. I am not ready to adopt yet but small dog sitting and boarding is perfect. It's a win win for me and definitely a win for the dogs I care for.
I will care for your dog the same way I did Ms Maggie, with my full attention and engagement, lots of snuggles and ear rubs and play time. They will get brushed and walked, weather permitting. I am a helicopter parent and truly just love dogs, you can be sure your pooch is spoiled and safe. You won't find concrete floors, block walls or chain link here, nothing but soft places to land. My girl never spent a night without a soft bed to sleep in and a caring human to curl up with.
I can give you as many references as you need, the care of your beloved pet is a serious decision and I acknowledge and respect that. I always meet the pup (s) and the parents before the actual day of the sit, board or snuggle. I want to be comfortable with your pet and vice versa, a meet and greet is essential. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, call or text me at 704-517-6653. References available on request.
Sincerely,
Laura Gurrad
